COMPILATION OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE MATTERS

Synopsis Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) refers to a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being in all matters relating to sexuality and the reproductive system, including the ability to have safe, satisfying sexual experiences and make informed reproductive choices. Experiencing sexual and reproductive health means that a person has complete physical, mental and social well-being in all matters relating to their reproductive system and its functions. In everyday life, this means that people can have satisfying and safe sex lives, to have healthy pregnancies and births, and decide if, when and how often to have children. I believe we in Malaysia are lucky to have this freedom. In my former place of practice, the Reproductive Research Centre, National Population, I was trained to provide the so-called SRH (Sexual and Reproductive Health) services and therefore proficient enough to handle the Sexual and Reproductive health Q&A Column.
